INTHREE MOSAICO workshops

Creative association of three artists – Rosanna Fattorini, Marco Santi and Beatrice Serre for the third year holds a series of their master classes. The last master class this year was held in Paris, in the workshop of one of the project participants – Beatrice Serre. The previous master class was held in the patrimony of Rosanna – in Florence from July 01 to July 06 of this year.
The course in Paris took place from 5 to 10 August at studio Beatrice Serre.
Students are faced with three-dimensional or volumetric (sculptural) techniques. To begin with, participants in the courses can see photos of finished mosaics made by the authors of the course in order to be able to draw ideas from the presented.
Lot of students choose a traditional mosaic (but not a copy from ancient mosaics), but flowers, portraits, etc. All materials are provided by the organizers of the workshop, all tools, smalt, enamel, marble and wood. All included in the course price. All the mosaics that were made during the course remain the property of the student, including all the “jewels” that were made under the direction of Beatrice.
Where are only two or three courses a year because all the mosaicists are very interested in the quality of the mosaics that are producing and also the time available to all mosaic artists are sincerely interested in the quality of the created mosaics. It also matters that the free time available to the authors of the courses is very limited due to their high employment during the year.
Unfortunately, many people are not able to participate in our courses for the reasons stated above, and also because the courses are usually taken by no more than 14/15 people.
