Here you can find stories about famous mosaic artists.
Conversations, interviews, artist’s thoughts about mosaic, about its place in the modern world and about the way from ancient to modern mosaic.
In this section our journal Mosaic review tells you about mosaic artists more like a sipmle people. All mosaic artists love their work, for them it’s not just a hobby, mosaic it’s their life, their energy, which they draw from nature and, processing with their imagination, transform into their babies – mosaics, into objects that make the viewer experience unforgettable emotions, affecting the very depths of the soul.
But, nevertheless, artists are not gods who have descended from heaven. These are almost the same people as everyone else. But that small difference that distinguishes them from other people makes them the artists. Creative dreaming souls, which can’t find serenity in mundane life.
The stories about the artists do not have some kind of rigid format. Some will be classic stories, others will be something like interviews, others will be more like a monologue. We select the hero for publication – the hero chooses the format of his message to our readers.
And, of course, here we post photos of the mosaics of our guests. Looking at the mosaic in the photo is not always equivalent to living contemplation when the work is directly in front of the viewer. But still, in order to understand and appreciate the individual style of each mosaicist, this is enough.
The mosaic of these artists is an integral part of contemporary art. The images and emotions generated by their work never leave the audience indifferent.
See you again on our mosaic site! We hope that our publications about mosaic artists will be interesting to you and will open the mosaic for you from a different, new perspective.
